A Sudbury native, Beth Hettrich was raised in a real estate family. Her parents started their company in 1970, and Beth and her siblings regularly assisted them with day-to-day tasks throughout their adolescence. Inspired by her parent’s entrepreneurship, Beth received her real estate license while studying for her undergraduate degree at Babson College in Wellesley.
Since then, Beth has nourished her own entrepreneurial spirit. She founded and sold two successful businesses. In 1988, Beth opened Truly Yogurt in Wellesley (and it’s still in business today!) and then sold it in 1992. She later opened the high-end gift and stationery store FLAIR! in Sudbury, which sold in 2007. Having experience owning two different businesses has helped Beth understand the ins and outs of the transaction process.
One year after selling FLAIR!, Beth started selling real estate, and today is a principal of the Semple & Hettrich Team. In particular, Beth is proud of her team’s ability to market and negotiate better than their competitors. Because Beth grew up in Sudbury and raised her three kids here, she offers deep market knowledge and insight into the area and the surrounding metro west communities.
Her favorite part of real estate is meeting people and sharing the buying and selling journey with them. She is a kind, dedicated, and driven professional who works hard to create an overall enjoyable experience for her clients. She prides herself on being very responsive and communicative. Prior to being in real estate full time, Beth was VP of Sales for a major national Group Purchasing Organization in Long Term Care for over 20 years. In this role, Beth negotiated multi-layered contracts and was responsible for millions of dollars in sales annually.
Beth loves living west of the city because of the country feel, excellent schools, and the outdoor spaces offered. She likes traveling, going to the beach, and keeping fit with a regular exercise regime that includes walking her 2 dogs. She has a home on Cape Cod where she loves spending time, especially with her 3 kids, family and friends.
